Many of the items below were also included in last week’s update but are relevant to this week, so I have included them again.
You are Invited
We would like to invite families to a board game night on Tuesday November 5th from 5:00-6:00 pm. Our book fair is open until 5:00 pm, so families wishing to join us for snacks and family board games can join us in the gym for a fun hour of play. Please note that we are not able to accept unaccompanied children (ie- we ask that parents join their children if they are coming). If you would like to join us for this event, please let Kellie know by 4 pm today so that we can have enough snacks ready.
Remembrance Day Assembly- We are honored to host our Remembrance Day assembly on Friday November 8th at 10:30 am, and would like to invite our parents to attend as well. We are fortunate to have a speaker coming from the High River Legion, and are appreciative of their support.
Christmas Hampers- We recognize that as we enter the holiday season, many families are in need. The Salvation Army runs a local Christmas hamper program that may be of interest- self-registration is available, but this year registration must be done in person at the Salvation Army Church in High River (117, 2nd Ave). The times that you can register are as follows:
Tuesday November 5th from 4-7 pm
Wednesday November 6th from 10 am-1pm or 2 pm-5pm
Thursday November 7th from 10 am-1pm or 2 pm-5pm
Friday November 8th from 10 am-1pm, 2 pm-5pm or 6 pm-8pm
Saturday November 9th from 10 am-1pm, 2 pm-5pm or 6 pm-8pm
Parent-Teacher Interviews
Parent-teacher interviews will be held on Wednesday November 20th from 4:00-7:00 pm, and on Thursday November 21st from 3:30-6:30 pm. Our goal would be to see as many families as possible! This coming Thursday, we will open up the booking portal and will post instructions and links to the school website. You will be able to sign up for an interview time right up until the morning of the event.
