International Students

69堂精品app (FSD) supports the admission of students who are not residents of Alberta as outlined in the . This may include a student whose parent(s) reside in another country, or are in Canada on a visitor permit, and the student is eligible for a study permit. The Division will accept non-resident students provided there are available placement spaces, appropriate learning programs, completion of the application, and the Education Service Fee is paid.

Please note: Students who are with a parent on a valid work permit and reside in the FSD catchment area may enroll at their designated school without proceeding with the International Student application process. Letters of acceptance (LOA) for these students is not required, and may only be issued after proof of a valid work permit is received.


How to Apply

  1. Please submit:
    • A signed copy of our
    • A copy of the student’s passport (picture page)
    • An official copy of the school transcript for the previous and current year (both original and English translation, if applicable)
    • Notarized  (if not residing with a parent)

  2. Confirmation of Application:
    • FSD will provide you with formal confirmation that it has received the Student Application Form and other required documents. We will ensure the requested school can accept the student, calculate the necessary fees, and provide payment information.

  3. Payment of Education Service Fee
    • Payment of fees is required by bank draft, money order, or wire transfer.

  4. Letter of Welcome
    • Upon receipt of fees, FSD will issue a letter of welcome. Note that a Letter of Acceptance is not required for a study permit in K-12 schools.
    • A Letter of Approval (LOA) may be issued after receipt of a valid study permit. 

  5. Upon Arrival in Canada
    • Please register at the school as soon as possible. Be prepared to provide the school with your acceptance letter, passport, and study permit.


Fees

  • Application Fee: $250.00 (non-refundable)
  • Education Service Fee: $11,271.00 per year** ($1,127.10 per month**)
  • Transportation Service Fee: $900.00 per year (if applicable)
    ** Does not include instructional materials and program fees or accommodation
